Who we are

What we collect, and why

When you use our enquiry form we collect the details you choose to give us — your name, phone number, and optionally your email address, town or postcode, a description of the job, and any photos you attach. We use these only to respond to your enquiry and to carry out any work you ask us to do. We do not use them for marketing and we do not sell or share them with anyone for their own purposes.

Photos you send

If you attach photos, our website automatically removes hidden location (GPS) and camera information from the image before it is stored, and re-saves it in an optimised format. The photos are used to understand and quote for your job.

How your enquiry is handled

Your enquiry is stored securely on the server that runs this website and, where email delivery is set up, is also sent to our own email address so we can reply. Email is delivered through a standard email provider.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is a secure session cookie used by the private staff area to keep us signed in while managing the website — it is not used to track visitors.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then we remove them. If you would like your details removed sooner, just ask.

You have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Contact us using the details above and we will help. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
